I'm so sorry to hear that things didn't work out. I am sure breaking off an engagement is one of the hardest things to do, especially when you have been anticipating the future and working so hard to bring yourselves together. You seem like a determined person and I am sure you (and your website) will come back even stronger. If you need a distraction I am always up for drinks (and I'm sure Danielle is as well). It was wonderful to spend time with you both in Cancun, Leon and I really enjoyed getting to know you both. Once we were actually to FIND you after multiple cab rides...haha I can only imagine what a tough decision this was for both of you but in the end you did what was right for you and that's all you can do. Me and Leon still talk but things are challenging for us as well and we have gone through some very rough moments. I can't honestly say what our future holds right now. Falling love with someone who is so far away from you presents so many challenges, if no one has ever gone through it, they just can't relate. I wish you all the best in which ever direction you take in your life. You are very strong and I expect to hear many great accomplishments and wonderful stories from you. I have to be honest and say that a relationship with someone from another country and culture is NOT easy. If it didn't feel right, you definitely made the right decision by not getting married because once you're married and have to figure out the realities of where to live, how much time to spend in Brazil visiting his family, etc.can be very hard.
