I hope you’ve all had a great New Year and are looking forward to some exciting things in 2012. I know we are! One goal for 2012 is to continue to grow and improve this site, and we’re asking for your help.
One of the biggest things I want to improve this year is finding the “voice” of this site and figuring out how we can best provide value to readers. And this starts with getting to know you!
So I am asking to take a few minutes and fill out a reader survey. It’s just 15 questions, mostly multiple choice. Please fill it out! Even if this is your first time here and/or you’ve never left a comment. Or, even if we are great friends or family and talk all the time.
One reader who submits the survey and provides an email address at the end will be entered in a drawing to win a $50 US Amazon gift card!
I’m going to keep the survey open indefinitely, but there will be a time limit for a chance to win the gift card. You must respond by January 14 at noon EST to be eligible to win.
A few notes: None of your demographic information will be made public or shared. You email address will not be added to any mailing lists or used by me unless it’s for the purpose of a specific response to the survey. I am hoping to share some general results in a future post but I will not make any exact responses or personal information public. Your privacy will always be respected.

I would definitely use the gift card for something travel related– perhaps a better way to tote my stuff around the city or just a travel book with lots of inspiration.
